At RJ Wachsman Homes, family isn't just a value -- it's who we are. RJ founded the company in 1978, and over the years, several of his siblings have worked alongside him in roles spanning office management, design, and construction. That family-first approach has shaped how we do business from the very beginning.
RJ's journey in construction started early, working as a brick mason in his late teens to put himself through college. What began as hard work and determination eventually grew into a passion for building homes. His son Tanner grew up around the business and joined the company full-time in 2015. In 2022, Tanner was promoted to President, where he now oversees all building operations. With the same hands-on dedication his father modeled, Tanner works closely with a team of experienced subcontractors to ensure every home meets the standard the Wachsman name has always stood for.
Both RJ and Tanner have served as President of the North Texas Homebuilders Association -- RJ in 2004, and Tanner in 2021-2022 and again in 2026 -- continuing the family's deep involvement in the homebuilding community.
