We are dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality, energy-efficient homes. That's why we have recently upgraded a variety of features in our standard building specifications. For example, we now use foam insulation in all exterior walls to improve energy efficiency and comfort. Additionally, we have transitioned to more efficient windows, with vinyl frames that have a lower thermal transfer coefficient. Furthermore, all of our lighting has been upgraded to LED fixtures, which not only improve energy efficiency, but also reduce the need for frequent bulb changes and minimize potential electrical issues. These are just a few of the standard features that we offer. If you're looking for something more, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your options.

We understand the importance of considering the neighborhood and surrounding area when purchasing a home for your family. Our Lake Wellington Estates and Trophy Park neighborhoods flow into the West Foundation Elementary school district, while Starwood residents attend Fowler Elementary School. From there, all three neighborhoods share the same middle school (McNeil Jr. High) and high school (Rider High School). One nearby amenity is the Memorial Stadium Sports Complex, consisting of several different recreational activity venues. Further east is Wichita Lake Park, serving as a primary entrance to the Wichita Hike & Bike trail. Access to the park is walkable or ridable via bike. Whether it's nearby schools, parks, or shopping centers, our team is happy to provide more information about the area. Simply stop by our office and speak with Judy or Tanner to learn more about what your new neighborhood has to offer.

Many of our move-in ready homes come equipped with office space or the option to set it up.

Per statistics from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and the Texas Department of Education – Fowler Elementary and West Foundation Elementary are two of the three top elementary schools in Wichita Falls ISD. After elementary school, both McNiel Jr. High and Rider High School are highly ranked within their respective categories within the Wichita Falls Independent School District (WFISD). All three of our neighborhoods currently fall within the boundaries of these top-performing schools.

Our neighborhoods have deed restrictions that prohibit carports, but we offer the option to build additional garage space for our customers. This way, they have a secure and covered space to park their vehicles.

Having a survey of your property is the best starting point if you own the land. If not, don't worry, we can assist you with acquiring one. Additional engineering and surveying may be required in some cases.

To start the custom building process, reach out to our team for guidance and support by clicking "Contact Us". By partnering with us, you can bring your vision to life and create a home tailored to your unique needs and budget.

Our design services are exclusively for new home customers and the fun begins shortly after we establish a builder-client relationship. As a client, you can either start immediately with one of our pre-existing plans and options sets, or you may opt to enter into a Design Services Agreement, which covers the cost of custom home design before entering into a contract or starting construction.

Our goal is to identify all desired elements of the home before construction starts. However, sometimes things can be missed and only noticed later. In such cases, we have a Change Order process in place where clients are quoted a price for the requested changes and asked if they want to proceed with the knowledge of that cost. The full amount must be paid at the time of the request.

Standard features can be influenced by your lot and location. However, in general, interior finishes are on par with those in our Starwood neighborhood homes and offer entry-level quality, trim and crown molding, a substantial lighting allowance, and typical features of an RJ Wachsman home. Building a new home from start to finish typically takes around 12 months with us. We begin the process by thoroughly understanding your needs and preferences as a client through multiple meetings and discussions. This includes determining the floor plan, site, and features for both the interior and exterior of the home. Our contractors work in a coordinated and scheduled manner, with inspections taking place at different stages. However, please note that this timeline is an estimate and special projects or unforeseen circumstances, such as product unavailabilities or delays, can affect it. Despite this, we always strive to keep the project moving forward and keep you updated on progress.

To get started on your custom home building journey with us, please reach out to us for a phone consultation. We can then set up a meeting to discuss your specific needs, budget, and design vision. If our visions align, we will move forward with a Design Services Agreement (DSA) which involves a deposit for preparation of plans, site evaluation, and any architectural, engineering, or rendering needs. The cost of the DSA depends on the scope of work, and can vary from no cost for an RJWH lot and floorplan.. to several thousand dollars for a remote-build location. This stage also helps identify any potential costly issues and helps determine the final cost of the home. By entering into a DSA, we establish a builder-client relationship and begin the journey of turning your vision into a reality.

To minimize building issues, we prioritize clear communication and effective planning during the building process. If any issues do arise, we work to find appropriate solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner, always striving for a positive outcome that meets the client's needs and expectations.
